I love Anubis' face in that lower left panel. XD Also, making up sound effects is one of the best parts of any comic. :D
Apologies for the delay folks. Being double sick right after a very busy convention takes a lot out of a person.
There's some new Anubis art by Chronicler87 in the "Fan Art" gallery and a link banner for the site in "Production Art".
I'd like to take this moment to direct everyone towards one of my favorite comics, Catena, by Tracy and DeBray Baily. If you've been enjoying "Ye Gods!", you'll really get a kick out of "Catena". :)

The Judge of Souls collects priceless, fragile pieces of art? Who knew? :D What I want to know is where he fit them in his tiny office and how they've survived Sekhmet all these millenia...
This is the best page since that one where I forgot to draw an entire panel! YES! Apologies for the rushed art. I had forgotten that I was going to be gone for most of this week until about ten minutes ago. :D I wanted to make sure you had a comic. And, yes, this was the plan/script for the finished page, too. It just would have looked nicer. :D
I hope everyone is having a good weekend! If you're in the Dallas/Addison, TX, part of the US, I'm attending Texas Furry Fiesta all weekend. You can find me in the dealer's den with Farrellemoon. :)

Anubis has seen a lot of things over the millennia. It's not often he's been left completely speechless. :D
There is a bunch of cool new stuff this week.
First up, there are two new albums in the gallery! I've added a holiday album to help keep all the festivities in order. There's something special in there just for all you Valentine's Day celebrants. The other new album is for production art for the comic, and boy are there some doozies in there this week. I found some more concept art for Sekhmet and the very first pages ever done for this whole comic. o.o
To cap things off, there's a new piece of Sekhmet art and a doodle of Lora in the Art by Razz folder. The Sekhmet doodle is also available in merchandise form through my Zazzle store, in convenient mug and t-shirt flavors.

Being a god means you can be a jerk whenever you want. :D
I understand this page might be a little confusing. For those who are lost, Captain Facebeard is a floating sentient beard attached to a robot mouth. Hope that clears things up.
There's a new and very awesome piece of art in the "Fan Art" section by Lastdragondreamer that I encourage everyone to check out. And if you haven't been to the gallery yet, you really ought to stop by. It's full of godly awesomeness. :)

It's nice to at last have this joke out of my head. It's been in the works for something like four years now.
Not much new today beyond the comic page, but there are two new pieces of art in the fan art gallery by my co-writer, Stoker. It's Stoker's concept doodles (with one of mine) for this very page. Enjoy!

In other news, there is a lovely collaboration between PurpleSerguei and Hunchback in the fan art gallery and a new sketch by me in "Art by Razz". I've also updated Purple's entry to the contest (which ended last week) so everyone can see her wonderful art at it's full size.
I'd also like to take this time to announce that I've now got a store up at Zazzle.com. There's only one piece of merchandise in it thus far, but more will be available soon, including some fun "Ye Gods!" related stuff. If there's something you want to see for sale in the store, be sure to contact me!

Not the funniest page, but it will all be worth it soon. :D
I'm finally back from vacation! I hope everyone had a good batch of holidays and that the new year treats you all well. I'm currently working on some fun updates to the site, the first of which is to finally have all of the comics properly titled. Huzzah! In the weeks to come, I'll be adding my commentary to those earlier pages, which should make some of them make more sense (marginally).
In the meantime, there is new art in the gallery! We got two more entries for the contest by PurpleSerguei (who wrote the very first "Ye Gods!" fanfic) and Krin (who did an awesome crossover with the singer Lady Gaga). There's also new pieces of fan art by KyubiKonanOfAkatsuki and David Hopkins/DripRat, as well as a few pieces of new art by me.
